Setup for the party begins.   Bluegrass band begins the show!  Cookers begin cooking their "World Famous" Crawdads!  Not just adults love the crawdads and sweetcorn but kids do too!  Various vendors lined the street offering food and fun!  James Bayou Cooker Teddy Bennett aka: "The Corn Man"..poses with his crawdads.

              Tour doesn't only have a shirt, but so do the Crawdads that are served the night before!

  Kids love the festival for all the fun, dancing and games provided!  Little bit of Mardi Gras! Beads are thrown into the crowd!  Let the Chicken Dance Begin!!!!  Crowds line Main Street in downtown East Prairie.  Crowd forms from both ends of the street!  Reid Howell of Oldies 105.3 is the MC of the event!  Skydivers begin their decent into East Prairie during a performance of "God Bless America!"  Skydiver makes his way into town!  First skydiver lands. Skydivers are apart of the SEMO Skydiving club.  "Oh say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave...." Stan Hubbard carries the American Flag for a grand salute to our Troops and Country during the festival!Winners of the dance recieved chicken hats!!And now...More CHICKEN DANCING!!!Kids of all ages get on the dance!And adults do too!!!Over 100 people participated in the dance!
